Walmart’s onn. 4K box (2023), 4K Pro (2024) and sticks run Google TV.
At a glance
| Android 12 | Android 14 (June 2025 update) | |
|---|---|---|
| Connection | Port 5555 | Expected to need a pairing code, like Chromecast ⚠️ |
| ArtFrame as screensaver | Set by ArtFrameRemote | Set by ArtFrameRemote |
The first Android 14 build bricked some units; the corrected build is URO1.250103.029.C1 (4K and 4K Pro).
Setup
Follow Chromecast with Google TV: the menus and behaviour match. Try USB debugging first; if refused on Android 14, use Wireless debugging with a pairing code.
The 2021 onn. model is the exception that still offers third-party screensavers in its own menu.
