1. Turn on Developer options
- Google TV: Settings › System › About › Android TV OS build ×7.
- Android TV: Settings › Device Preferences › About › Build ×7. On some models Android’s settings sit under Settings › Android settings first.
2–3. Turn on debugging and connect
Developer options › USB debugging on.
Connect over Wi‑Fi the first time. Philips Android TVs reportedly only accept the first debugging approval over Wi‑Fi, not Ethernet. After that, Ethernet works.
4. Make ArtFrame the screensaver
Set by ArtFrameRemote. Recent Philips TVs don’t list other screensavers in their own menus.
5. Keep the screen on long enough
Settings › Eco settings:
- Switch off timer: default about 4 hours; set 0 to disable.
- Screen off: turns only the picture off; leave it unused.
- The TV also switches off after 10 minutes with no signal.
